Simona Fontul is an Assistant Researcher of the Transportation Department of National Laboratory for Civil Engineering (LNEC), Lisbon, Portugal, and invited Assistant Professor at Civil Engineering Department of NOVA School of Science and Technology. She is a corresponding member of Technical Committee 4.1 “Pavements” of PIARC – World Road Association and an EU expert evaluator. She has more than 25 years of experience in transport infrastructures evaluation, with extensive expertise in non-destructive testing.
