PhD (2010) and Habilitation (2022) in Civil Engineering with over 100 publications on structural health monitoring through books, book chapters, peer-reviewed journals, and conference proceedings. His research is mainly focused on the development of machine learning techniques for damage identification. He is Full Professor at the Engineering Faculty of the Lusófona University.
