Francisco Pinheiro joins the INTENT team!

We are pleased to welcome Francisco Pinheiro to the INTENT project team. Francisco is completing a Master’s in Engineering Physics at the University of Minho and brings experience in embedded systems, real-time sensing, low-power wireless communication, microcontroller programming and signal processing.

His Master's dissertation focuses on materials modelling, using AI to optimize pseudopotentials for quantum simulations. He also conducts experimental research on semiconductor characterization and thin film deposition, exploring oxide-based materials for next-generation optoelectronic devices. Previously, he completed an industrial internship at Synopsys through the Microelectronics Academy, where he gained experience with professional microelectronic design tools and workflows.

We welcome Francisco into the team and look forward to the valuable expertise and dedication he will bring to the INTENT project.
